Tuākana in Business

Kia ora e hoa! Mālō e lelei! Talofa lava! Fakaalofa lahi atu! Bula vinaka! Namaste! Hello! Welcome to our vibrant and dynamic community of Tuākana in Business. Here, we co-create a culturally rich and supportive environment where Māori and Pacific students and staff come together to learn, grow, and succeed.

At Tuākana in Business, we celebrate and honour the unique perspectives of our Māori and Pasifika communities. Our programme is not just about academic support; it's about fostering connections, embracing diversity, and having fun along the way.   Join us in our very cosy spaces where you can hang out, study, and connect with fellow students who share your passions and aspirations. Whether you're seeking help with assignments, preparing for exams, or simply looking for a supportive community, Tuākana in Business is here for you every step of the way.

What can you expect from our programme?
  • Academic support: Dive into our regular tutorials, get assistance with assignments, and join our engaging exam wānanga (workshops).
  • Hauora care and direction: Your health and wellbeing are important to us, and we provide resources and support to help you thrive.
  • Tuākana spaces: Explore Te Marumaru (the shelter) and Te Kauwhanga Tatai Hono (the sacred corridor), where you'll find a welcoming environment and a dedicated tutorial room. These are wonderful places to meet up, hang around and to unwind as well as study of course!
